The setup procedure will install an icon in the Windows System Tray. This icon shows whether the UaGateway is running or stopped. If you right click on this icon you can start the tools to administrate and configure the UaGateway or to enter your license information. To perform administrative changes to the UaGateway configuration you will need administrator privileges.
The UaGateway can be stopped at any time. If the UaGatway is stopped, the icon of the systemtray will change to a red rectangle. If the UaGateway is running, the icon will change to a green triangle.
The UaGateway process is installed and registered as Windows NT service. You can start, stop and restart Windows services using the Service Control Manager (SCM). As an alternative you can start and stop the UaGateway Service with the DOS commands:
