HowTo: Connect to the local UaGateway with a COM client

This HowTo describes how to connect to the local UaGateway using the OPC Quick Client from Kepware

Locate and start the OPC Quick Client. To add the local UaGateway just press the button New Server at the top of the Client and add the UnifiedAutomation.UaGateway.1 in the Server Properties window.

After that it is necessary to add a new group to the COM Client. This can be done by clicking New Group. The window Group Properties appears and all desired information can be set.

Now it is possible to add items to monitor to the client's view. Click the button Add Items at the top of the OPC Client to open up the dialog Add Items. Here it is possible to browse in the addresspace of the UaGateway and the connected OPC Servers. Select the desired items to monitor and press the button OK.
